Ve3 grew out of questions that had been developing for years, before any individual project took shape.
How do values influence leadership, decisions and the systems in which we live? How can people and institutions understand more clearly what drives them? How can that understanding lead to better choices, stronger relationships and work with lasting value?
Those questions have led us into national research, international policy dialogue, intergenerational work and leadership development. The settings have changed, while the underlying inquiry has remained consistent.
Ve3 brings together people, institutions and organizations to explore how values shape leadership, decisions and systems. We believe that lasting change begins when values become a shared language for reflection, collaboration and action. Through research, dialogue and practical experimentation, we help transform that shared understanding into meaningful and lasting impact.
Co-Generazione: an ecosystem for intergenerational dialogue and character-based leadership

Co-Generazione began with a question that sits at the heart of Ve3: how can people who experience the same systems differently learn to understand one another and build the future together?
The project started through an experience developed with Fondazione Cariverona, listening to young people who had applied to its Young Advisory Board but had not been selected. Their perspectives became the starting point for a World Café, a research process designed with young people, and a wider ecosystem involving universities, companies and institutions.
Leading with Character provides the starting point for the young people’s journey. From this first module of personal and leadership development, Co-Generazione continues through a modular pathway combining research, the VE3 Labs, intergenerational dialogue and experimentation.
Ve3 contribution: Overall project leadership, research coordination, youth engagement, development of the VE3 Labs, institutional partnerships and impact measurement.

Values20 - from Italy 2021 to the 2026 transition year
2021-2026 | Global / G20 ecosystem | V20 partner and founding-member contribution
Ve3 and Values20 share the view that public policy and systemic change are inseparable from the values that influence behaviour, leadership and collective decisions.
Italy 2021 was the decisive chapter. As local organizers and V20 co-chairs, Ve3’s founders helped develop the theme “Values in Action”. The same year, they launched Ve3 to ensure that the ideas, relationships and momentum generated through V20 could continue beyond the G20 cycle through practical, collaborative initiatives.
Ve3 contribution: Local organization and co-chairing of V20 2021; launch of Ve3; subsequent support to local organizers and participation in the international V20 community.

National Value Assessments
Precursor project | Italy | Values, culture and civic action
Before Ve3 was established, an earlier question was already guiding our work: what can change when a society sees more clearly the values that shape it, and the distance between everyday experience and the country its citizens hope to create?
Through Voc-Azione, the Italian National Values Assessment examined the values Italians associated with themselves, with the country as it was, and with the country they wanted. The results showed a marked contrast between the relational values people claimed personally and the public culture they experienced as obstructive and dysfunctional.
Ve3 connection: The project represents one of the intellectual and practical roots of Ve3. One of Ve3's founders contributed to the research, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and interpretation of the findings through Voc-Azione.
